This book is of no practical value for any restoration task. The material presented is very superficial. It appears to be the combination of several magazine articles on restoration rather than a workshop manual. For instance, chrome plating, a major task with any restoration, only rates a couple of sentances of text, concluding with the advice that you should have some one do it for you. Ditto zinc plating. The author does devote five pages to putting a radio in your classic…. Save your money.

I enjoyed this book as it was a vry helpful guide to retoring cars. There are plenty of photos and tips to help put you in the right direction.

I ordered this hoping it would relate to my 1975 Chevrolet, but it is oriented completely toward English cars of the 50-60-70’s. Good book for them; not for US restorations.
