Come as you are. Our church family varies in how we dress.
From jeans to suits, we hope you’ll join us in a worship.
“If we clothe ourselves with humility, then no matter how we dress, we will honor and reflect Christ.”

To maintain your focus on God while decluttering, consider incorporating prayer into your cleaning time. At WUMC, we will be emphasizing the collection of SOFT GOODS (clothing, shoes, accessories, bedding, and linens) throughout the season of Lent. Please note that we aim to limit boxed household items to the first 100 boxes, and kindly refrain from donating books. The collection will commence on Ash Wednesday and conclude on Easter Sunday.
Goods can be dropped off at the church and placed in Room 102 during normal business hours or on Sunday morning before or after the worship service. Simplify your life during Lent by cleaning out those closets.
We Are Collecting:
Clothes:
Men’s, women’s, & children’s clothes
Coats, shoes, scarves, handbags, wallets, fashion accessories, belts, backpacks, etc.
Household Textiles:
Bedding, comforters, blankets, sheets, towels, linen, tablecloths, curtains, pillows, etc.
Please gather clothes and household textiles in bags. All items must be clean and in sellable condition. Thank you for your generosity and participation in making this Lenten season meaningful.

District Camperships are still available! With our new structure, applications will now be processed through the conference camps office. A new district campership form is being developed for just this year and will be available by the end of the month. Campers are encouraged to apply for both district and conference support, if needed, as well as local church support. Anyone who wants to attend camp should be able to go.
